Delete Pre-installed Apps From Nokia Java Phones Without PC

APPLICATION/GAMES  DELETE PROCEDURE:

  •  Goto>Menu > Settings> Sync and backup > Create backup >continue> mark apps and games >done

  • Now open applications> your memory card> Backup files> Backup000.NBF  copy this file and paste to another location. 

  • Now open BlueFTP or UC Browser's file manager  (if u dont have these apps download from this link)

  • Rename the file  Backup000.NBF  to Backup000.ZIP

  • Open the zip file by BlueFTP and extract this file

  • Inside this file, open Java > Collections . There is many folders like cherry_India_private, ovi_private, facebook_private etc.

  • So first copy any file (image/tone/any other text file) in memory card, and rename it cherry_India (skip   _private  )  by BlueFTP or UC Browser's file manager

  • Go to My apps > Memory card (not Gallery > Memory card) and rename cherry_India to cherry_India.jar

  • Now mark it and move it to collection or games or where your app exists. (Do not directly move, just mark and move). You will see - "Item already exist"  

  • Now go to app and go to option, you will see delete option highlighted. Do same with other apps also. You can delete multiple apps by renaming and mark & moving multiple files at once.

    Doesn't work for deleting apps on 2700c.

    first identify the app (cherry_India_private) inside backup file. then copy any text file and rename the text file cherry_India.jar .

    Then mark and move the cherry_India.jar file to games folder.

    refresh it(go back and enter) and now see the app delete option.
